Jivamukti

Jivamukti Yoga (translated liberated while living) is a method and path to enlightenment through compassion for all beings.

By means of asana and other traditional yogic practices, Jivamukti Yoga offers a unique spiritual experience that is vigorously physical and intellectually stimulating. The Jivamukti Yoga Method’s five foundational tenets are Ahimsa (compassionate living), Bhakti (devotion), Dhyana (meditation), Nada (sacred sounds), and Shastra (philosophy).

Flow + Yin

A 75 minute class that begins with a 45 minute Flow. Designed to strengthen and lengthen our physical body and calm the mind. The final 30 minutes is a yin practise that will focus on a particular energy line. This yin section will deepen relaxation as well as strengthen joints and ligaments.

Both segments of this class target connective tissue and aid in stilling the mind.

Flow & Yin classes are heated to 28 degrees.

Yin

Yin Yoga focuses on deep stretching of the muscles and joints to release tension and lengthen fascia.

Yin Yoga classes are taught focusing the practitioner on the breath to help let go of tension throughout the body. All classes are 60-minutes and suitable for all levels.

Yin classes are heated to a comfortable 26 degrees.

Relax & Restore

Restorative yoga is a gentle, slow, still style of yoga that involves long, passive holds in a series of 4-6 restful poses.

Yogis are often supported by props to enhance or deepen their experience and achieve a state of total relaxation and release. Restorative yoga classes are based on the teachings of B.K.S. Iyengar. On occasion this class may include a yoga nidra (guided meditation) to further relaxation.

Restorative classes are heated to a comfortable 26 degrees.
