Spring is a season of renewal, energy, and fresh beginnings. After the slower pace of winter, it’s natural to feel the need for a reset – physically, mentally, and spiritually. That’s why we invite you to join us for our Spring Cleanse Yoga Workshop, a special offering designed to help you release stagnant energy, restore balance, and step into the new season feeling lighter, brighter, and more connected.
At Yoga Tree Elsternwick, we honour the yogic principle of Saucha, or purification. In yoga philosophy, Saucha is about clearing away what no longer serves us, both on and off the mat. Our Spring Cleanse Workshop draws on this wisdom, guiding you through yoga, breathwork, and meditation practices that encourage cleansing on every level.
Spring has always been seen as the ideal time to detoxify and reset. Just as nature awakens with new growth, we too can use this season to shed heaviness and invite vitality. During winter, the body and mind often slow down – our movements, diet, and energy can feel denser. By contrast, spring offers the perfect environment to stimulate renewal and clarity.
The Spring Cleanse Yoga Workshop helps you align with this seasonal rhythm. Through mindful movement and intentional practices, you’ll gently clear out physical tension, mental clutter, and emotional heaviness. The result is a sense of spaciousness, vitality, and fresh energy to carry into the months ahead.
This workshop combines accessible yet powerful practices that anyone can enjoy, whether you’re new to yoga or more experienced. You’ll be guided by our senior teachers, who are skilled in holding safe and supportive spaces. Here’s what you can expect:
Kriya’s: We will explore three kriya’s include cleansing the pranayama, clearing the nasal passages (Neti), and focusing the gaze to still the mind (Trataka)
Flow & Yin: A sequence designed to warm the body, build strength, and improve circulation -then cool it preparing for deep relaxation.
Breathwork (Pranayama): Kapalabhati breathing technique to detoxify the lungs, oxygenate the body, and focus the mind.
Meditation & Guided Relaxation: Practices to release stress and cultivate clarity, so you leave feeling centred and uplifted.
Seasonal Insights: Practical tips on integrating Saucha and seasonal living into your daily life for lasting wellbeing.
Take-Home Goodie Bag: A thoughtfully curated package of tools and resources to continue your cleansing practices at home, supporting you long after the workshop ends.
Every posture and practice will come with modifications, so you can participate at your own level.
The Spring Cleanse Yoga Workshop is open to everyone. You don’t need to be flexible, strong, or experienced – just curious and willing to explore.
This workshop is perfect if you:
Feel sluggish after winter and want to reset.
Are seeking tools to support clarity and focus.
Want to deepen your understanding of yoga philosophy and seasonal living.
Are curious about Saucha and its role in a modern yoga practice.
This season invites you to grow, expand, and thrive. The Spring Cleanse Yoga Workshop Melbourne is more than just a yoga session—it’s a chance to connect with yourself, align with the energy of the season, and carry that sense of renewal into every part of your life.
